HRPA Annual Conference & Trade Show #ACGames

The #ACGames is a contest based on the HRPA 2019 mobile app and designed around a points-based system where delegates will accumulate points before and throughout the conference. The delegate who receives the highest total points wins our Grand Prize, and runners-up will win donated exhibitor prizes.

How does the contest work?

Conference delegates compete to accumulate points by completing challenges and networking and interacting with trade show exhibitors using features on their HRPA conference mobile app before and during the conference. The delegate with the most points by 9:30 am on Friday, February 1st, 2019 wins the #ACGames grand prize, a $1000 Amazon.ca Gift Card and runners-up will receive donated exhibitor prizes.

Before and during the conference, delegates earn points by contacting exhibitors to schedule a demo or meeting, networking and exchanging contact information with exhibitors and other conference delegates, posting images and information about exhibitors on social media, and participating in other challenges. Once the challenge is completed, delegates are given a code to enter into their app that will award them points outlined in the Activities below.

How do I play?

  • Download the app & log in with the email address you used to register for the conference
  • Fill out your profile – make sure to include your name, job title & company name
  • Tap on the #ACGames button on your app to view Contest Challenges
  • After completing a challenge, you’ll be given a passcode, enter it in the app’s #ACGames Challenge section under “Have a Passcode?” and tap “Earn Points”
  • Track your standing on your app’s leaderboard

Who can participate?

The contest is open to conference delegates who hold paid conference passes; Volunteers, HRPA staff, Sponsors, Exhibitors and Chapter Personnel are prohibited from participating.

When are the #ACGames?

The first Challenge will be posted to the HRPA AC app December 19, 2018 and subsequent challenges will be posted starting in mid January 2019. The #ACGames ends on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at 9:30 am.

Prize Awards

Grand Prize: The person with the most points by Friday, February 1st at 9:30 AM will receive the Grand Prize, a $1000 Amazon.ca Gift Card. The winners will be announced at the Jobillico Booth at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 1st, 2019. In the case of a tie, the individual who achieved their score first based on leaderboard records will be named the winner. This will apply to the entire leaderboard.

Exhibitor Prizing:

Prizes provided by #ACGames exhibitor participants will be awarded after the Grand Prize, and are dependent on the amount of prizes provided from exhibitors. Starting with the second place runner-up and moving down the list, winning attendees will be awarded their prizes according to the final points standings; prizes will be awarded according to prize value. e.g., 1st runner up will receive the exhibitor prize with the highest value; 2nd runner up  will receive the exhibitor prize with the second highest value, etc.

Winners will receive their prizes at the Jobillico booth and will then participate in a photo opportunity.
